CeAnne (CeCe) Taylor- Owner/Head Trainer

CeCe has been working with animals since a young age. She was the go to person in her neighborhood growing up to pet sit, walk, and train dogs. She first nurtured that love by working as a veterinary assistant throughout high school. She then went to Penn State where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in animal science. Afterward, she followed her passion into the training field, where she has the opportunity to help people bring out the best in their dogs. CeCe competes nationally and internationally with her own dog, Striker, and is a national champion in the sport of mondioring, where she holds the record for the highest ever nationals score at Mondioring level 1. Traveling to Greece at the highest level (level 3) and placing 5th out of 30 dogs from 14 total countries! Continues to travel and compete with Striker at the highest level of mondioring. Competing in AKC obedience with both Striker and Roo. Oh yeah, all while still being new to the dog sport world.

CeCe’s extensive and varied experiences, including her competition background, is a great benefit to her business. The veterinary medicine background and her college education, helps her to give optimal care to all her clients. All competitions are done without rewards, corrections, a collar, or a leash. The performance is achieved through a good relationship and understanding with the dog. Within mondioring, no two trials are the same. You never know what to expect on competition day from your heeling pattern, distractions in a down/sit stay or your retrieve item. Your training must be done well enough that your dog is prepared in the art of generalization. Generalization is one of the most important aspects of training which CeCe passes along to all of her clients and their dogs. Making sure your dog is prepared for all scenarios and can look to their owner when something new does surprise you both. This is done through a relationship that will last a lifetime, built on mutual respect and trust.
