Day Training

Day training is an excellent option for people who want their dog to get expert training while still having their dog at home. This alternative to a traditional board and train program is a great option for those who want to be more involved in their dog’s training. Monday through Friday, your trainer will come to your house to pick up your dog and take them on quality training outings. At the end of your pup’s daily training sessions, they return home and spend the night with you. At the end of each week, you will receive a transfer session to show you what your dog learned and how to incorporate it into your life. Depending on the length chosen, you will become more involved each additional week. Lessons within this program, unlike private lessons, are not limited to an hour.

There are multiple program options to select from depending on your goals for your individual dog. Each program includes a remote training collar (~$200 value).

Board and Train

The board and train option is an excellent choice for busy professionals and families. Your dog stays in a loving home environment, not a busy kennel setting. This means low stress, and also means that training will transfer very easily into your own home. Rather than learning to train your own dog, you will just have to learn how to handle a dog that already knows everything. You will receive regular updates on your dog’s progress, and very thorough go home lessons at the end of your program to ensure you know everything that your dog does.

Some examples of what can be included in your dog’s training program:

Heeling: Polite walking at your side, matching your pace, and stopping when your stop. Your dog will be able to maintain this skill around people, dogs, and other real life distractions.

Recall: Responsiveness to coming when called, even when off leash around distractions.

Manners: Working through problem behaviors (barking, jumping, door bolting, counter surfing) that are an issue for your dog around the house.

Stays: Being able to freely walk in/out your home without the worry of your dog bolting outside.

14 Day Board and Train

This program is an excellent option for dogs who need great manners and obedience, and aren’t struggling with any bigger behavioral issues (leash reactivity, etc). We build a solid understanding of obedience, and a communication system of feedback that allows our dog to really understand what we want from them.

21 Day Board and Train

This is our most popular option. The 21 day option is an excellent option for dogs who are a bit older (over 3 years old) or who are dealing with behavior issues such as leash reactivity. This program allows for more in depth work on habits that are harder to break, and gives your dog many more repetitions with a professional trainer.

If you are looking for professional guidance from a trainer, we also offer standalone private lessons. Each private lesson lasts one hour. They typically begin in your home and escalate to different locations as you and your dog progress towards your training goals.
